Heritage walk

Chhaap in collaboration with the State Bank of India had organized a Heritage walk in the old city in November 2003. Debashish Nayak from Ahmedabad, who has designed heritage walks in many other cities and countries, had designed this walk. During the walk he pointed out many architectural and town planning high lights of the city. It was called Mandir to Mazjiid. Started from Jagmandir and ended at Jami mazjid near Madvi gate.
Talk started with a slide show in SBI auditorium where Dabashish pointed out how the city was originally planned and developed. Next day during the walk he pointed out a few murals, electric polls and the water system which is unique to Baroda.
