Mimesis Print Studio

Mimesis is a collective of artists founded in 2018 with six core members. They gather as practicing artists and thinkers to host workshops, screenings and discussions to realize printmaking as a medium facilitating social and economical change.

While doing so, they promote young artists and give interested students free access to their technically equipped studio. The internship programs are based on open-calls. The studio is located in an industrial area which allows the artists to work freely with chemicals and equipment which otherwise would have been a disturbance in a residential neighborhood. They curate and participate in building portfolios to raise funds and are also supported by a silent partner.
